- It's important to eat regularly and generally that means every three hours so plan ahead.
- Avoid eating before bed. During sleep the body is in "maintenance mode" and eating a heavy meal before bed shifts energy to digestion.
Dealing with Stress
- Focus only on what you can control
- Look to social support, talk it out with a friend or family member.
- Learn to relax. Try deep breathing for a few minutes.
- Get moving. Exercise or just take a short walk.
