They say the devil is in the details and the last minute details for the Diamond Jubilee are coming together. Last weekend a number of members gathered at Benefit Chair Maggie's house to put together gift baskets for the silent auction and they look spectacular.
Meredith poses amidst a large amount of Benefit-related items.
We had packaging galore!
We set up an assembly line so each basket was carefully staged, wrapped and then sent to Ashley for recording.
Our finished products, ready for the Benefit!
Jubilee attendees will have the chance to bid on spa treatments, wine and dining, movie baskets, health and fitness baskets, and that's just the beginning!
One of the most fun parts of the evening for many members is the fact that it gives us a chance to dress up and this year's event is no different. The dress code: think sophisticated elegance, a la Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Since it's Trojan Junior Auxiliary's 75th Anniversary, and the 75th is usually in celebration of the Diamond, feel free to deck yourself in your finest jewels as well.
Finally, do you want to advertise in the program? There's still time to get your message in if you act fast! Email benefit@usctja.com to receive a submission form and directions on how to expose your business to over 100 people for next to nothing.
With two weeks to go, our members are so excited for our Diamond Jubilee! We hope to see you there with diamonds on!
